Since setting up in 1984 Duncan Grehan and his staff have provided an increasing foreign client base with advice in all of the practice areas below. We are experienced in dealing with cross border transactions. Many of our clients trade with Ireland from abroad or have set up subsidiary or branch operations here. Others have invested in farmland, bloodstock, country houses and holiday homes. We correspond in the English and German languages which a number of our staff speak. We are a small skilled and experienced team. We are members of a number of non-exclusive international lawyer networks, groupings and associations.

Duncan Grehan is a CEDR accredited commercial mediator and has practiced commercial dispute resolution in and out of court for more than 30 years. He receives regular instructions from insurers to defend product liability claims.

Conor Griffin:

Conor joined the firm in 1999 as a trainee and since qualifying in 2002 has built up extensive experience in all areas of general practice. He practices in the fields of commercial and personal injury litigation, employment law and conveyancing. He is experienced in both prosecuting and defending claims whether that is for a plaintiff or defendant in the courts or for an employer or employee before an employment law tribunal.

Conor is an expert on due diligence and clearance of advertisements, competitions and sales promotions for international competitions in the Irish market and has a particular expertise in advertising law and the regulation of marketing communications.

Éadaoin McLoughlin:

Éadaoin has extensive experience of debt recovery and the enforcement of foreign judgments in Ireland. She is currently dealing with areas such as breach of contract, personal injury litigation, residential property sales and purchases, advertising law, licensing, probate and employment law.
